The local Association of Fundraising Professionals Chapter (AFP) voted in December to disband as an official chapter under the national AFP organization effective mid-March. Over the course of the last few months, the board has hosted a series of conversations to determine the best direction and future for the fundraising professionals in Springfield.


You are invited to a nonprofit informational meeting, February 24.  The Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) is hosting a lunch meeting on February 24 at the Sangamo Club to introduce and provide information on Forefront’s new plans to provide networking and capacity building for Executive Director’s, Resource Development staff and Program staff.  This is a free lunch and open to all staff at local nonprofit organizations.

Jul 13 - Program Manager
The Program Manager is responsible for managing quality delivery of the Girls on the Run program and serves as the lead on planning and implementation of the program each season. This includes coordination and oversight of coach and participant recruitment efforts, program sites and their participation in the 5k event, volunteers, program communications, event assistance, reporting, and administrative duties related to program fulfillment.
